New CKS website version 3 released
Following the success of Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS) service beta site version
3 software and content was released on 28th April 2008. We are seeing
10,000 unique visits a day and receiving very positive feedback on the usability
of the enhanced site structure.
The NHS Clinical Knowledge Summaries are a reliable online source of evidence based
information and practical ‘know how’ about common conditions managed in primary
and first contact care.
CKS service provides both quick and detailed answers regarding knowledge on clinical
topics and the practical ‘know how’ to put the recommendations into action. In addition
CKS provides KnowledgePlus with links to the Cochrane Library, Medico-legal guidance
and current information on the incidence of common infectious diseases in your area.
CKS is produced on behalf of the NHS and is a central resource of the National Library for Health and is independent of the pharmaceutical
industry.
