PRODIGY

The PRODIGY Programme started in 1995 and ran through to 2006 when the contract for PRODIGY Knowledge maintenance was re-procured as the NHS Clinical Knowledge Summaries and awarded to SCHIN.

Over the 11 years of work the PRODIGY Programme covered many other areas than knowledge production from decision support software, portal development and education and training. As a programme of work it pushed many boundaries back and is internationally respected.

Some of the experience learned by SCHIN is used through the SCHIN / Clarity Informatics Group in commercial products and within SCHIN ASCC Decision Support Services.
