Since 1993 the Sowerby Centre for Health Informatics at Newcastle (SCHIN) has been recognised within the NHS and Internationally as a leading centre for health informatics.
SCHIN is part of the Clarity Informatics Group and provides the NHS Clinical Knowledge Summaries, the NHS Appraisal Toolkit and has led many other significant and innovative health informatics projects which are currently at the heart of the NHS information services.
