NHS Appraisal Tool Kit
To help manage the appraisal process, SCHIN has developed the NHS Appraisal Toolkit.
A resource for appraisee and appraising GPs, Consultants and Staff Grade and Associate
Specialist (SAS / NCCG) doctors in NHS England, this single on-line resource brings
together advice, guidance, best practice, practical tools and access to a community
of peers in the appraisal domain.

Whilst the NHS Appraisal Toolkit will continue to be provided under contract to the Department of Health. Clarity
Informatics has for the last 2 years we have been developing a new system to support revalidation and this has been in
pilot in the NHS for over a year – RevaldationPLUS. From January 2010 this new product will be
provided commercially.
